About the Mark Sandman Music Project:

The Mark Sandman Memorial Concert is in honor of the life and work of Mark Sandman, a Cambridge resident and internationally acclaimed performer and songwriter, best known for his work in Morphine, on the 10th anniversary of his death. Founded in his honor, The Mark Sandman Music Project is a not-for-profit community-based organization which seeks to foster recreational, educational, and artistic goals by expanding young peoples' opportunities to participate in music. We believe that collaboration in music inspires our spirits, celebrates cultural diversity, and encourages the building of vibrant communities.
